TREATMENT
PDO threads
PDO threads, or Polydioxanone threads, are absorbable sutures (threads) used in medical procedures. They are made of a material known as polydioxanone, which is a synthetic, non-animal-derived material. PDO threads are commonly used for facial rejuvenation procedures such as face lifts, thread lifts, neck lifts, and brow lifts. They can also be used for other procedures such as scar revisions, lip augmentation, and cheek augmentation. The threads are inserted into subcutaneous tissue and can be used to lift and tighten skin, stimulate collagen production, and improve skin texture.

At what ages do they apply?
At the age of 30 and over, in people whose skin needs support and tightening. The older the person to whom they are applied, the denser the net must be in order to be able to build the right collagen infrastructure.
Duration of treatment and effect?
Depending on the areas in which we operate, the duration of the treatment is from about 10 to 30 minutes.
What are the side effects?
PDO threads are non-traumatic and absorbable, without side effects, as long as they are placed by a specialist doctor. There are no complications after their application, while some possible issues occur locally like bruising and redness, that disappear in a few days.
What can we achieve with their application?
Natural creation of collagen and elastin. Tightening and regenerating the skin without surgery.
Where do they apply?
Common areas of the body to which the treatment is applied are the face (oval, nasopharyngeal, cheekbones, crow’s feet, forehead, middle eyebrow), neck, abdomen, buttocks, thighs, arms, back and chest.
How they are placed?
PDO threads are typically inserted by a medical professional using a small needle or cannula device. Local anesthesia or cream is typically used to reduce discomfort during the procedure. The needle is inserted at the desired injection site and then the thread is passed through the needle, leaving the thread behind. The needle is then removed, and the thread is tightened and secured in place. After the procedure, the threads dissolve over time and are eventually absorbed by the body.
Duration of treatment and effect?
Depending on the areas in which we operate, the duration of the treatment is from about 10 to 30 minutes.
How long does the result last?
Usually and depending on your skin about 6 months to 2 years.
